Smart Meetings works with people to develop their participatory skills, knowledge and capacities, using participatory methods.

It is practical and hands on – the experiences and issues faced by the participants shape the learning framework. It does this by:
  • Demonstrating the tool or concept in question: experience what it’s all about in action.
  • Exploring the process steps and underlying dynamics: discover why & how it works.
  • Having a go at using the tool or concept: learn by doing, so you really learn
  • Following up with coaching and/or mentoring to ensure effective real-life application.
Content can be tailored in format, duration and detail to meet your particular needs in a range of physical settings and cultural contexts. We can draw on both our own multi-sector & -country background/s and those of partner organisations, as required.

We therefore generally provide in-house learning and development. We also run public events by subscription (or a mix).
